KwaZulu-Natal (iKwaZulu-Natali; Xhosa: KwaZulu-Natala; Afrikaans: KwaZoeloe-Natal) is a South African province that was formed in 1994 when the Zulu bantustan of KwaZulu (“Place of the Zulu” in Zulu) and Natal Province united.KwaZulu-Natal has nine TVET colleges in their province, namely Coastal TVET College, Elangeni TVET College, Esayidi TVET College, Majuba TVET College, Mnambithi TVET College, Mthashana TVET College, Thekwini TVET College, Umfolozi TVET College and Umgungundlovu TVET. TVET Colleges KZN–Requirement

  • The minimum requirement is a successful Grade 9, but even better is successful Grade 10, 11 and Grade 12.
  • A year-end school report for Grade 9 or higher; or
  • An NQF Level 1 Qualification; or
  • ABET Level 4
  • A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the basic requirement for access to NQF Level 2

  • Birth Certificate/Identity Document (Proof of application for new ID/Passport)
  • Certificates/Qualifications
  • Recent Academic results
  • Municipal billing document/other account statements (not older than 3 months)
  • A valid study permit (Foreign national students)
  • The South African Qualification Authority’s (SAQA) Evaluation Certificate (foreign qualifications).
