The TVET colleges have opened their online application portal for the 2026 academic year. If you’re interested in applying to TVET College for the 2026 academic year, do so NOW. The application portal is open to interested students who meet the admission requirements of the preferred college. TVET colleges in South Africa accept applications online. To apply to any of South Africa’s TVET colleges, candidates must begin their application process in 2025 between the 1st of April and the 30th of November for the 2026/2027 academic year.

All prospective students are currently completing the application for the 2026 academic year. Interested students must visit the official website of the TVET College of their choice, download the online application form, and complete it with the required information. The completed application must then be submitted for evaluation for the 2026 academic year.

How To Apply To TVET Colleges 2026
To apply to a TVET college in South Africa for the 2026 academic year, follow the steps below:

  • Identify the course you wish to study
  • Fill in the application form available on the official website of the TVET College of your choice
  • Pay a non-refundable application fee (if applicable)
  • Upload certified copies of supporting documents like accredited ID copy, latest school results, ID copy of parent/guardian, and proof of payment.
  • Foreign candidates have the responsibility of evaluating their qualifications with SAQA before applying; no foreign students will be accepted if this is not done.
  • Once your application has been submitted, the college will inform you if you have been admitted.

  • certified copies of ID/Passport/Birth Certificate
  • certified copies of the ID of the Parent/Legal Guardian
