TVET College Online Application Date 2025 Eastern Cape

The online Application for admission to TVET Colleges for the 2025 academic year opens annually, allowing prospective students to apply. The application date varies among colleges in the Eastern Cape. Generally, TVET Colleges opens their portal on April 1, to receive applications for undergraduate and postgraduate applications for the next academic year.

THE Online application portal of TVET Colleges normally closes on the 30th of November. Therefore prospective students must stay updated with the application date of the TVET college of their choice.

Eastern Cape TVET College Online Application Requirement 2025

The admission requirements of TVET Colleges vary, however, the general admission requirements for TVET Colleges in the Eastern Cape are provided below:

  • The minimum requirement is a successful Grade 9, but even better is successful Grade 10, 11 and Grade 12.
  • A year-end school report for Grade 9 or higher; or
  • An NQF Level 1 Qualification; or
  • ABET Level 4
  • A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the basic requirement for access to NQF Level 2

To apply online at Eastern Cape TVET Colleges for the 2025 academic year, follow the steps below;

Step 1: Get your application form.

All new applications can apply online via the official website of the TVET College of your choice. Please ensure that you provide a valid and working e-mail address and one cellphone number during the application process.

Step 2: Complete your application form in full

Complete the application form with the required information in the given spaces. The information provided must be correct and accurate.

Step 3: Attach all supporting documents.

All applicants starting a new qualification are required to upload the following certified documents:

  • Birth Certificate/Identity Document (Proof of application for new ID/Passport)
  • Certificates/Qualifications
  • Recent Academic results
  • Municipal billing document/other account statements (not older than 3 months)
  • A valid study permit (Foreign national students)
  • The South African Qualification Authority’s (SAQA) Evaluation Certificate (foreign qualifications).
