TVET Colleges Application Opening Date 2025
The majority of Tvet colleges in South Africa accept applications online. To apply to any of South Africa’s Tvet colleges, applicants must begin their application process between the 1st of April and the 30th of November for the 2025 academic year.

TVET Colleges Applications Requirement For 2025
The admission requirements of TVET colleges vary from college to college, however, the general admission requirements of TVET Colleges are provided here;
TVET Colleges, which are part of the Higher Education system, admit students who have completed Grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 in high school.
TVET College courses are a good option for post-graduates from universities who wish to gain additional practical experience. One of the benefits of attending a TVET college is that it places a high value on student employability by requiring practical training as part of the curriculum (internships and apprenticeships).
Documents Needed To Apply At TVET Colleges 2025
Before applying to the college, the following documents are required:
- 3 certified copies of the ID of the Learner
- 3 certified copies of the ID of the Parent/Legal Guardian
- One ID-size photo
- Copy Certified of latest school report/Grade 9 or Higher
- A unique Email address and cellphone number.
- Visit the official website of the TVET College of your choice
- Download the online application form
- Complete the online application form with the required information
- Upload certified copies of supporting documents
- Make payment of the application fee(if applicable)
- Submit your completed application for evaluation
