TVET Colleges Still Open For Registration
TVET Colleges is now accepting registrations for the 2026 academic year. Students are encouraged to register online or remotely. Registration is open for all undergraduate, postgraduate, and other qualifications. TVET colleges are regulated by DHET. TVET colleges are mandated to start registration in January and end in February after successfully ending the application period.
You may register for your chosen courses and modules after you have accepted your admission offer to a TVET College. Normally, TVET Colleges registration is done online on the official registration portal or website of the TVET Colleges. The registration must be done online only after you have accepted your admission offer to the college.

TVET Colleges Registration Dates 2026
The TVET Colleges’ registration dates vary based on the college you are applying for, your chosen subject, and the semester you are registering for. The TVET college registration portal typically opens from January until February.
Newly admitted and continuing students must register for the courses and modules before they can begin their academic year’s classes.
TVET Colleges Registration Requirements
To register for Tvet College, you need to provide and upload the following documents:
South African Students
- A certified copy of the latest school results
- A certified copy of the Identity Document
- registration fee
- Proof of residence
Foreign Students
- A certified copy of the latest school qualification
- A valid study permit until the end of the relevant study period
- Foreign student registration fee
How To Register At TVET Colleges
TVET College registration must be done online on the official registration portal of TVET College. To register online, follow the steps below:
- All returning students should collect their examination results at their campuses in January. ( Most of the Tvet Colleges Cullender starts in January)
- All qualifying students undergo the NSFAS application process.
- All students who meet the progression criteria will be allowed to register at their respective levels.
NB: The registration fee is non-refundable:
TVET Colleges operates a cashless system. All cash and cheque payments are to be deposited into the respective bank account of the college.
