TVET College Online Application Dates 2025
Tvet colleges normally open their application porta on April 1 and close it in November. The application dates vary from college to college, depending on various factors. Applicants are urged to stay updated with the application date of the college of their choice.
All applications must be submitted before the closing date, hence, late applications will not be considered for the upcoming academic year,

Online Application 2025 Requirement For TVET Colleges
Before applying to a TVET College, you must ensure that you meet the admission requirements of the college you wish to study at. However, the general admission requirement is provided below:
- The minimum requirement is a successful Grade 9, but even better is successful Grade 10, 11 and Grade 12.
- A year-end school report for Grade 9 or higher; or
- An NQF Level 1 Qualification; or
- ABET Level 4
- A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the basic requirement for access to NQF Level 2

How To Apply Online For TVET Colleges 2025
TVET Colleges application must be done online on the official website of the college. To apply online at a TVET College for the 2024 academic year, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Get your application form.
All new applications are now available online on the official website of the college. During the application process, please make sure you include a valid and working e-mail address as well as one telephone number.
Step 2: Complete your application form in full
Complete the application form with the required information in the given spaces. The information provided must be correct and accurate.
Step 3: Attach all supporting documents.
All applicants starting a new qualification are required to upload the following certified documents:
- Birth Certificate/Identity Document (Proof of application for new ID/Passport)
- Certificates/Qualifications
- Recent Academic results
- Municipal billing document/other account statements (not older than 3 months)
- A valid study permit (Foreign national students)
- The South African Qualification Authority’s (SAQA) Evaluation Certificate (foreign qualifications).
Step 4: Submit your application
A confirmation email will be sent to you with all the applications in detail.
