In the heart of Nelspruit lies Ehlanzeni TVET College Nelspruit campus which can also be referred to as Nelpruit TVET College. Nelspruit Campus is near the city core and on the Maputo corridor. This Campus, along with Mlumati, Kanyamazane, and Mthimba, was one of the first to be established to become Ehlanzeni TVET College. The campus was once known as Nelspruit Technical College and was a state-aided institution.
Originally, this Campus primarily provided Business Studies, and enrollment peaked at around 300 students due to a shortage of lecture halls. When Engineering Studies was launched in response to numerous inquiries from Business and Industry as well as the general public in and around Nelspruit, the infrastructure had to be increased by expanding the number of lecture rooms. The Campus now houses 1640 students. As a speciality programme, the Campus offers Electrical programmes. The Campus is located 3 km from the Central Office of the college.
