Phalaborwa Tvet College is one of the campuses of Mopani South East TVET College, a government-sponsored, accredited post-secondary college that operates under the Continuing Education Act, Act No. 16 of 2006, as amended, by the Department of Higher Education and Training. Mopani South East TVET College, which is located in the Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality of Limpopo Province, is administered by the Mopani District Municipality. Grade 9 and above students can apply to Phalaborwa Tvet College now. The application period ends in November 2025.

Phalaborwa TVET College Online Admission Requirements 2026/2027
Applicants must pass Grade 9 or above, or have a NQF Level 1/ABET Level 4 certificate, or an approved bridging program developed for the sole purpose of accessing NQF Level 2, or a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) examination to meet the essential requirements for admittance to NQF Level 2.
Admission Requirements for NCV Programs
- N4 applicants must complete Grade 12 and meet the minimal prerequisites for admission to a diploma program. To rewrite a failed subject, N5 requires an N4 certificate or three topics passed at a prior level, as well as proof of enrollment. To rewrite a failed subject, N6 requires an N5 certificate or three topics passed at a prior level, as well as proof of enrollment.
Admission Requirements for Nated Programs
- N4 A prospective student must have passed Grade 12 with minimum requirements for admission to a Diploma (relevant
- subjects* may be required in certain fields)/Passed National Senior Certificate or NC (V) Level 4-relevant field.
- N5 requires an N4 certificate or three subjects passed on the previous level plus proof of enrolment to rewrite a failed subject N6 requires an N5 certificate or three subjects passed on the previous level plus proof of enrolment to rewrite a failed subject.

- Certified copies of identification documents/birth certificates. Similarly, international students must provide their passport numbers.
- Exam Results: Final results of grade 12; likewise, grade 11 if sitting for grade 12.
