NSFAS for TVET colleges

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is a public entity reporting to the Department of Higher Education and Training. NSFAS provides financial assistance in the form of a study bursary to qualifying students who wish to study or are already studying at TVET colleges and public universities.

Applicants who are approved for NSFAS funding are covered by Registration, Tuition, Food, Accommodation, transport and Personal care. Its principal goal is to ensure that worthy students do not miss out on an education due to lack of funding. The programme initially targeted college students, but it has now broadened its scope to include TVET colleges in recognition of the critical role they play in closing the skills gap in the nation.

How To Apply For NSFAS In TVET Colleges

It is simple to apply for National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) funding to support your study at a Technical and Vocational Study and Training (TVET) college. To apply follow the steps below:

Create a myNSFAS account via this link: https://my.nsfas.org.za/ or download the NSFAS App on Google Play or App Store. Your ID number will be your username.

• Apply now:

Click on the “Apply’ tab to update your personal information and upload your application supporting documents, as indicated.

• Complete:

Submit your application
