The National Accredited Technical Education Diploma (NATED) programme of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) plays an essential role in moulding the careers of numerous South African students studying technical and vocational education. DHET NATED Results Release Dates 2025
The Quality Council in General and Further Education and Training has endorsed the arrival of the April 2025 NATED Report 190/191: Engineering Studies N2N3 assessments regulated by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). Designing Studies N2-N3 is presented at TVET and private universities.
As per the reports from the DHET, the April 2025 NATED Report 190/191: Engineering Studies N2-N3 Examinations were directed from 1 April 2025 to 2 April 2025 at 383 assessment places for 124 417 educational contribution sections. Umalusi has noticed that a sum of 51 720 up-and-comers composed the April 2025 Engineering Studies assessments – 26 986 (52,2%)on N2 and 24 734 (47,8%) on N3 level. A total of 55 subjects (instructional offerings) were presented to the Assessment Standards Committee of the Umalusi Council for standardisation on 17 May 2025.
At its gathering on 19 May 2025, the Executive Committee (EXCO) of the Umalusi Council delivered the accompanying endorsement articulation:

- Block the results of candidates/instructional offerings of three centres involved in non-compliance to ICASS instructions pending the outcome of further investigations by the DHET and verification by Umalusi;
- Block the results of candidates and instructional offerings of centres implicated in irregularities as indicated in Annexure E of the DHET report on the April 2025 Report 190/191 Examinations Irregularities and Incidents pending the outcome of further DHET investigations and verification by Umalusi;
- Address the high incidents of irregularities at private colleges;
- Take drastic measures against the private colleges implicated in irregularities and submit a full report to Umalusi; and
- Address the directives for compliance and improvement highlighted in the Quality Assurance of Assessment report.

- Go to the DHET website/ The official website of the college where you wrote the exam
- Select online registration
- Go to registered users
- Select student, and then enter your student number and pin
- Select the student inquiry
- Select Academic record
- Tick the qualification that you wish to see the result of
- The result will appear on the screen for the qualification that has been selected. Click on the file to store, and print to print your results
